Adding text 781
To align text
1 Choose the Te xt tool from the toolbox.
2 In the Layers panel, select a text layer.
3 On the property bar, enable one of the following buttons:
• Align Left
• Align Center
• Align Right
You can also align text by choosing the Layer Adjuster tool from the
toolbox, clicking the text on the canvas, and clicking one of the alignment
buttons in the Te xt panel.
Adjusting text kerning and leading
You can fine-tune the spacing between letters by adjusting the kerning. You can also
adjust the amount of space between lines of text by adjusting the leading. You may want
to change the leading from the default setting which is set at 100%.
To kern text
1 Choose Window Text.
2 Choose the Te xt tool from the toolbox.
3 In the Layers panel, select a text layer.
4 In the Text panel, adjust the Tr a ck i ng slider .
